True, but if the link below points at a simple one liner applescript which tells iCal to launch:

<A HREF="file:///BootOS9/Applications (Mac OS 9)/AppleScripts/LaunchiCal">myScript1</a>

Then you get the same effect. My only point was that If I want to create a web browser based portal to control stuff on my hard drive, it's fairly easy enough to do without requiring anything other than what I already have on my machine. So I guess I'm missing the intrigue of Missing Link. I suppose it would be a bit simpler to use than creating a bunch of small applescripts to do whatever I want and then embedding links to them in a web page, but for me it's not enough of an improvement to get excited about. Maybe there's some aspect to it that I'm not getting.
