At 01:31a +0800 05/21/2004, Bill didst inscribe upon an electronic papyrus:

<http://www.apple.com/applescript/scripteditor/12.html>

There's a note in this page that states:

NOTE: In the initial release of Mac OS X v10.3, the Script Editor will not translate embedded scripts containing high-ASCII characters such as: ,, or

So, how can we encode the left & right chervon + option \ & shift option \ ; ?

Do we need an update of Script Editor, any ideas?

I personally believe that the applescript URL protocol is ridiculous. :)

A URL is supposed to be a reference to a resource, not the resource itself.
Any place you can put a URL, you can put a script; they're both just text.
In addition, URLs tend to run up against length limits in certain contexts.

I predict this will go the way of mood rings and disco music. ;)
