Well, I have a Cocoa application that has Address Book entries in a table. I'd like to have the user able to double-click on one of these table items and open the Address Book with that specific person selected. This way I can use the Address Book to get more detailed information and set information, rather than rewrite all of this functionality myself.

Perhaps there's another way to do this. What are you trying to accomplish here? Normally in an application such as Address Book, there is no need to set a selection because the script can work on items directly.
