Why is this crap accepted on the list? Not only is there no good reason to
use HTML in email, this is just completely broken. (Try that utterly broken
URL.)
I do realise this is Adam's list and he can do with it as he bloody well
pleases :) But when I regularly see my careful attempts at contributing
something useful be denied[*], and yet see a large amount of unreadable
'HTML' mail apparently being considered acceptable, I find myself more and
more often not even bothering to try to contribute to the list.
Just in case that last bit is misunderstood: of course it doesn't matter if I
don't bother to contribute. What matters is that, I suspect, others may feel
the same and this list is thus missing out on valuable stuff. Thus this
policy takes down the value of this list.
[*] Many of my messages have been rejected over the years for their content,
even recently. I'll be honest and say that can hurt a llittle now and then,
but is OK with me as long as such moderation does the list as a whole good.
