As far as the context-sensitive help aspect goes, there's probably not much could be done to help users find their way around their AppleScript code,

Scripter has/had a number of useful things to assist. There was an object map (much like Script Debugger has), and a Command Builder (which was a nice concept, but all of the mouse clicking drove me nuts so I rarely ever used it). The command builder wasn't really an "auto complete", but more like a guide dog to help you complete. If an application had some tortured syntax that you couldn't grok from the dictionary, it could reveal it for you.

It had an Object spec builder, and perhaps the most useful of them all, a live probe for the object hierarchy of a document in a currently running application. The latter was often useful to quickly sort out odd containment relationships. I used it a lot to sort out issues in FrameMaker.
