A user who did manage to disable AppleScript would have a seriously-broken
Mac OX X machine.  (Lots of things are done with AppleScript or its
underpinnings that don't make it obvious that's what's happening.)

My guess is that you shouldn't worry much about it...perhaps just notice and
notify the disappointed user that because AppleScript is unavailable your
program isn't going to install.
