People not using defunct dead emailers dating form the last century - which
can't read HTML or enriched text - are seeing all the correct characters,
Nigel. You may have some reason persisting with Claris Emailer - which had
its last update in 1998 - and that's OK. You'll just have to put up with all
the perverted stuff quoted above, as before. But if you get with it - use
Mail in OS X and Outlook Express in OS 9 or Eudora free mode in either if
you don't want to pay for a new email client (you must have paid once for
Emailer, no?) - you'll see the proper non-ASCII characters, including all
those used in AppleScripts - as God intended.
