Right, like making people having to read from bottom to top ;)
Anyway, there are mail to news and mail to Web gateways and vice versa. I've
never run them so I don't know how good they are, but at least in principle
it is all only a matter of exchanging content. Especially if that content is
just plain text then it can between different types of channels (email, Web
fora/BBS, news, RSS, etc.).
(And yes, me too hates using the Web for bi-directional communications :) It
sucks at that.)
