This is true. It should be there, and the other Office 2004 apps' as well.
I've just written them (Ben Waldie, to be precise) to that effect.

There were informal reports (otherwise known as "rumors") that Sal Soghoian
had printed out the Word 2004 dictionary when it first came out, and it ran
to over 400 pages - maybe 500. But I have no idea what method he would have
used - whether the same metrics as macscripters' PDF printouts or not (but
there's a good chance it was the same standard print-to-PDF).

You can download the free Test Drive of Microsoft Office 2004 from
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac>, which is fully-featured including
AppleScript, and see for yourself.

Pages is probably good. Among the hundreds of entries in Word are many
classes with dozens of properties containing hundreds of enumerations. The
scope of all that would not show up just by counting classes and events
(although even there, I think the list runs to some 500-600 main entries).
Since there's a built-in restriction of 255 characters description per
dictionary item imposed by Apple on Dictionary formats, and since Word
barely uses more than 20 characters most of the time (there will eventually
be a real Reference Guide for Office's AppleScript with much,. much more
detail) even number pages will give a rather conservative accounting
compared to apps which give fuller descriptions of their commands and
properties.
