This is true. It should be there, and the other Office 2004 apps' as
well.
I've just written them (Ben Waldie, to be precise) to that effect.
Thanks Paul for bringing this to my attention. I've just posted the
dictionaries for all of the Office apps in MacScripter's "Scriptable
Apps" section.
but the InDesign CS PDF there runs 253 pages ...
There were informal reports (otherwise known as "rumors") that Sal
Soghoian
had printed out the Word 2004 dictionary when it first came out, and
it ran
to over 400 pages - maybe 500.
It's big, that's for sure. The dictionary I got for Word was 174
pages. Excel was 165. Entourage was 24, and PowerPoint was 46. Maybe
the rumor of 400 pages was for the entire Office suite.
Regarding PowerPoint, this is a significant change over it's previous
dictionary, which only contained a single command - "do visual basic".
Maybe this will prompt the folks on the Keynote team to implement
AppleScript support in their product. Also, if anyone wants to script
PowerPoint, Apple's got some sample scripts on their web site for
PowerPoint 2004 -
<http://www.apple.com/applescript/powerpoint/index.html>.
P.S. Photoshop CS's dictionary is 41 pages.
