Well, I don't know if this is more interesting than annoying. Perhaps
Michelle will find it useful.
Apparently Smile uses the same format prefs as SE, too, because I decided
to look at the latest version of Smile, and it does indeed allow underlining
certain styles using the same fonts that SE uses, but does not allow
underlining (e.g., Geneva). Well, I also played with the presets in Smile,
but when I reopened SE, I found that my prefs were now messed up to match
Smile, but with underlines that were not available through SE. So, by using
Smile just to set text styles, I can get those styles in SE. Makes me feel a
bit guilty, though, even though Smile is free.
Anyway, it does reveal that one can script SE to apply underlines and such
where they are not available through the GUI. If you want, Michelle, I'm
just bored enough to add the options to the script I started the other
night, if you don't want to d/l Smile to do it yourself.
I would really like to use Smile, but I really have fallen in love with the
Event Log History, plus I'm wary of risking non-vanilla results for
distribution. I really can't afford SD, but for the wish list, does it have
an Event Log, too? Is it hard to stay vanilla without thinking with it?
