One of you people are winding me up, right?
Look what I just got back:
**************** eManager Notification *****************
<snipped useless anti-spam spam>
******************* End of message *********************
Helpfully, the message (or its header) doesn't tell me the subject
line or
give any other reference to *which* one of my offensive messages it
was that
caused the problem.
I think I can guess which one caused the problem though. Do we have to
resort to ROT-13 to use the term "cvff-cbbe" now?
This is ridiculous.
It is - in the past week since Apple switched to setting posts with
From set to the original posters address I have gotten literally
HUNDREDS of obnoxious auto-replies from vacation messages, mailbox
quota full messages, anti-spam tools, etc. Of course these tools should
be using the Reply-To, but they don't, and as a result the list as a
whole doesn't see these messages meaning the listmoms have less demand
to remove the offendiing subscribers - instead, those of us who post
most get hit most (I don't post much on this list, but do on many
Apple-hosted lists)... nice policy destined to really raise the quality
of postings on the lists.
Urgg.
