Does Smile let you (easily & comfortably) distribute scripts that rely on it?
Can it be somehow embedded in a script? If you need people to separately get
and install Smile (or a Scripting Addition) people are less likely to bother
to try your script, in my experience.

Why only if you're not new to progamming? (Sure, for someone who never
programmed some parts of it will be 'too technical' initially, but I think
other parts really pay off to read right away.)
