That's a fair question, obviously, Sander.
The answer is: Yes. You may freely distribute Smile. You may even distribute
a modified Smile installation.

SmileLab, or what is also called 'Smile Full Edition' (which may be a poor
choice, because it makes the other sound less full), adds a complex
visualization engine and requires a registration fee.
Also note that the Satimage OSAX may be freely distributable with your
solution with no need to include/install the Smile application. There are
terms for that as well, but it is also free.
