This script:
posix file "test:ing"
...fails silently in Script Editor. It does not compile, but there is no
error message either; nothing happens. I regard that as a bug, possibly more
than one (i.e. in AppleScript for failing to report the error gracefully and
in Script Editor for failing to handle that failure gracefully). m.
