Hi all,
has anyone found a way to automagically select this option via the Mac OS X
4.x GUI scripting?
Ive been able to select the other buttons...preview, cancel and print from the
Print dialog but there is apparently something unsupported about the PDF
button...in UI Inspector and another app I found it is listed as an unknown
element of type NSCFtype, and I can find no way to force the menu to
popup...click doesn't appear to work on it, neither does press or anything
else Ive tried.
If I use the UI Inspector and mouse over the menu itself and its items they
appear fine, its the *parent* of the menu, which appears to be a *child* of the
PDF button and appears to be entirely un-scriptable...
has anyone else seen this? got it working?
<g> any apple engineers know why its so oddly broken? it really looks as if
they have used a custom control for presenting a list, its hard to understand
how this was seen to be a good choice?
thanks for any help.
Yours cheerfully,
Andrew Bush
