I can't find any commercial (or otherwise) solutions to convert Quark 6.5
docs into InDesign. I need to be able to edit them afterwards in InDesign so
the simple EPS or PDF export solutions are not going to cut it. Neither is
saving the files back to version 4, because that does not really work that
well anyway.
I am sure this can be done using AppleScript, but it seems like it is such a
common problem that someone must have already done it (or at least tried).
Do the experts out there have any advice about whether or not this is an
achievable goal? Or should I just be telling my creative team that they are
going to have to be spending nights and weekends doing this manually. I
would be willing to pay for even a partial solution if one already exists.
Alex
