Quark 6.5 picture usage

I have a script that places images in Quark. When it starts to print the job, they are wrong type in picture usage. Is there any scripting way to update the links. I searched the archives and it mentioned closing the file and reopening, or opening a copy. This was all in Quark 4. Hopefully, there is a cleaner way in Quark 6.
