I think my problem got overlooked during the recently ended (I hope
it's ended) squabble.
Essentially, when making a new message the ID of the message is
returned, as in the following:
tell application mail to set foo to make new outgoing message
--> message ID <nnnn>
However, when creating a reply, forward, or redirect message, nothing
is returned.
tell application mail to set foo to reply message ID <nnnn>
After that line executes, foo is undefined.
