Hi all,
I am still confused from what are the allowed chars in an email address.
Your function, apparently allow for the percentage sign, "%".
But this site http://www.remote.org/jochen/mail/info/chars.html, says
it shouldn't be allowed...
RFC822 allows for spaces, as long are the are double quoted. Have you
guys ever seen such email strings around?

"." is not a wildcard within a character class.
