applescript for enabling root user...

Hi List,

I have this applescript studio app that passes some "do shell script" commands as user "root".

Problem: If the root user has a blank password, it returns an error, "invalid password" for root, then, my user (the app user) has to open manually netinfo manager.app and enable root user.

Can you guys comment how to overcome this problem?

What should I do? Try to create a password for root user via my applescript app? Or alert the user?

Thank you for your comments...

I will appreciate to see you code too.
