Hi Applescripters
In Apple's Printer Scripts folder there is a script to convert a
file to pdf which calls the shell command
"/System/Library/Printers/Libraries/./convert ". I cannot find any
information about the options for this command. There is no man
page and google was no help.
Could someone give me some pointers as to where to look?
I launched SpotLight with "ImageMagick" to locate
"ImageMagick.html", the hypertext help.
I think '/System/Library/Printers/Libraries/convert' is a
completely different
beast from ImageMagick's convert. If you run 'strings' over the former, you'll
see this usage string:
Usage: %s [-f <input filename>] [-o <output filename>] [-i <input
mimetype>] [-j <output mimetype>] [-P <PPD filename>] [-u] [-a
<attribute string>] [-U <username>] [-J <jobname] [-c <copies>] [-D]
Yes it's different.
Slightly off-topic, searching "ImageMagick" with SpotLight finds
"ImageMagick.html" only in the servers connected, not in your own
machine. To search *your* machine, ask a colleague on the local
network :-)
