Name of Volume inside a disk image

  • Subject: Name of Volume inside a disk image

I've been trying to find a way to get, from a disk image file, the name of the volume that would mount if it were double-clicked. But I don't want to have to actually mount the disk. So far, everything I've tried has failed and I'm beginning to think this may not be possible. Any ideas?
