The *simplest* way of getting your app to work with Automator is to write
your own set of actions. Failing to do this will mean that your app won't
even appear in the Automator library.
And that means that the only method of accessing it will be getting
Automator to run an AppleScript - which won't be any good if you hadn't
bothered writing a script suite in the first place.
Also, what is the point of using Automator to run an AppleScript?
You'd have to use Script Editor to look at the dictionary and debug the
script and then copy it to Automator. That's pointless for anybody familiar
with AS and most users of Automator aren't going to look any further than
the pre-built actions.
