PowerPoint is a scriptable app so it's no surprise that Sal could do neat
stuff with it.

Pages isn't - which makes it about the *only* page layout programme with no
scripting support.

The only way you're going to script it is to work with a public API.

If it gets an AppleScript dictionary anytime soon then I'll admit that
you're right about AS being the *simplest* way to implement Automator
actions - until then you're wrong ;-)

Anyhow, how comes you've still got email - I was hoping the CGP timebomb had
stopped you from posting...
