Set emailTo to {"email@hidden","email@hidden", "email@hidden"}
This is the correct syntax, it is a "list of string". You can even use the following :

Set emailTo to {"This is A <email@hidden>","This is B <email@hidden>", "This is <email@hidden>"}

But some of the instructions are quite ambiguous and it sounds like he is
saying you can format it this way:

Okay, what exactly do you find ambiguous ?
