They are, IIRC, installed when you install the Xcode tools, but you
may not find them available unless you add the path to them in your
environment. In Terminal type "set" and look at your PATH. You will
need to modify it by adding the path to the folder containing the
dev tools tools (sic). It should look like this.
PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/Developer/Tools
Perhaps worth mentioning that to do this you should add a hidden
file called ".profile" to your home folder. You can put the path
information in there. Make sure it has UNIX line endings (lf).
