Thnx Andrew for your reply
I have tried this, the prompt is does not occur if we use the -noprompt
switch but I am still unable to install the image on the client, by sending
an asr Unix command over ARD. I get the following error msg:
Erasing target device /dev/disk0s12...news_hfs: /dev/disk0s12 is mounted on
/
/sbin/newfs_hfs failed with error 256
/
couldn't erase target - Operation not permitted
Any suggestions abt this??

I can't tell you how to respond 'y', but man asr implies:
-noprompt suppresses the prompt which usually occurs before
target
is erased. newfs_hfs(8) will be called on target and
once you start writing new data, there isn't much
hope
for recovery. You have been warned.
So I'd prompt the user 'Are you sure?' and add the -noprompt switch to the
asr command as appropriate.
