HELP!!!
My company is desperately seeking to replace our 18 Macs in our art department with PCs. AppleScript is the only thing stopping them from doing so.Over time I have developed very long scripts to automate applications to take away the mundane work from artists.Such apps are Freehand MX, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, OSX Finder, Mail and Corel Draw. They are seeking to translate this into VB. How safe am I? Is there anything I can develop that can’t be done in VB. Also too, sorry for asking here but, our current laser engrave equipment requires a plt file (HPGL - Hewlett-Packard Plot File). I am stuck in Classic using a version of CorelDraw to export this plt format. Does anyone know of anything I could try in OSX to create this file format? I don’t want to remain using Classic if I don’t have to.
With all the professional in this users list, I'm hoping someone can provide me some answers.
Thanks,
--Steven
