Hello all....
My version of Eudora (5.2) crashes from time to time - due to having too
many windows open, I think.
Afterwards one has to "rebuild" the mailboxes (which are actually just text
files). After this many of the messages have their status rendered as "?" -
which isn't in the official list of statuses they should be able to be.
Asking what the status of the message is via AS gets:
«constant ****euS»
(those are left and right << >> brackets).
Trying to set the status of that message doesn't seem to work: it just
sticks the same way.
Anyone managed to conquer this? I'd like to run a script which would reset
the status of such messages to something like "already read".
best
Charles
