FileMaker 7 AppleScript problems...

Another problem I am finding with FileMaker 7 is that I can't update the current record if the cursor is in a field of the record (even if the record has not been changed). I get the error "Data is being used by another user, script or transaction".

This presumably is a record locking problem. Perhaps some people have developed good ways to deal with this that they would like to share.
