I didn't claim that one was *correct*, I merely suggested that top-posters
are anti-social, self-important scumbags who just want to blurt out their
unreasoned and unconnected thoughts and leave others to deal with the mess
that sits below their utterances.

But, they're not all bad - I think that people who can't even be bothered to
put a space between paragraphs are worse ;-)

Seriously, I've never, ever seen a defence of top-posting that made any
sense. Hardly any serious contributors to lists or ngs use that style of
posting.

I call for Chris Espinosa to adjudicate on this issue! Let's find out what
somebody who has to deal with lists professionally thinks of top-posting?

If he endorses top-posting I'll remove the Fatwah.
