Jym,
I know you have good intentions when you try to dissuade me from getting
training, and as I said, I do value suggestions for reading, but I simply do
not regard the question about books versus training as an either/or
proposition. My options are these:
a) Books
b) Book + training
More talented people may view teachers as totally superfluous, but I have
only spent 30 years in the education world, as a student and as a teacher,
so I am afraid alternative b is much better for my limited mind
So, bearing in mind that you are dealing with someone who actually wants
training please feel free to again read and reply to my original request for
OS X Unix training in NYC.
