Apps that aren't part of / ship with the OS:

Garage Band, no, no sign this has changed.

iMovie...not really. It has a single statement in the dictionary that you
can't use, and is only there for integration.

iPhoto: Yes, and very

Final Cut Pro: No, no, and no. There are some apps that ship with FCP that
are scriptable, but FCP has no AppleScript implementation.

Keynote: It's read only, so it's effectively useless.

Pages: Not at all.

DVD Studio Pro: No

In fact, unless it changed in the very recent past none of the pro apps are
scriptable.

Now, let's look at the competition:

Microsoft: Pretty much everything but the RDC client in OS X. Even Outlook
2001 has a more useful dictionary than Keynote.

Adobe: Again, pretty much the entire mac product line INCLUDING After
Effects 6.5 Pro (although this is Javascript, so it loses points on
language, but gains points on having a clue), although Acrobat's dictionary
has real issues.

Media 100: Scriptable, Recordable, and Attachable.

Hell, BTVPro is more scriptable the FCP, and it's pretty cool what you can
do with it.
