**** Of course, you could go ahead and list every single utility or
developer app and quote its scriptability, or argue the limits of its
scriptability as making it effectively unscriptable, but the average
(teacher, student, audio/video/graphics pro) user, IMO, will have at least
80% scriptability in everyday Apple apps.
*****Given that the (common) alternative is frighteningly dangerous to do
the same things, and requires knowledge of VBS and other evils, I'll take
what I can get from Apple, thanks.
