I'm not. It's easy to tell if an application is scriptable:
Is it an apple app? It's probably not scriptable.

Been there, done that, been blown off for years. Sorry, I'll take the time
to type when I see a sign that any of the App team leads are listening to
the AppleScript community. Maybe Automator will help.
But again, I don't really have to care. I have a scriptable word processor.
I have a scriptable page layout application. I have a scriptable
presentation application. They're just not made by Apple. Obviously, it's
not a concern for them, and the application teams are not only blowing off
scripting requests, and they get support from the top in doing so, which
tells me that it's not a priority for Apple outside of the OS. (Keynote is
so lame, I'm absolutely shocked, In the two years since Keynote was
released, the best they can do is that read only silliness? It fills a
checkbox, and that's about it.)
