When a zip disk (or similar) was mounted, back in the days of OS 9, any
folder windows associated with the disk would automatically open if they had
been open when the disk was last ejected. Is this behaviour entirely absent
in OS X?

(It used to be a useful way to make quick backups - I would attach an 'on
open' folder action to a folder that opened when the disk mounted; the
attached script would back up files from a specified source, then eject the
disk. Just one of the little things I still miss...)
