If I use a mount_afp CLI command to mount a disk running on an SE/30 (A script does that every time I log in to my OS neXt box.) can I expect a high level event that will run an AppleScript through the folder action process?

Moving a file into a folder with a mv command does not seem to involve such things.

Are folder actions actually triggered when a hidden folder is the target? Or do they happen only when the Finder does the work?
