Ouch! That's server murder. ;)

In addition to being a tad greedy, mail daemons are not even providing that
short an interval from their incoming spool [1], so you are beating two
upstanding processors for no reason.

My provider doesn't seem to mind; I've been doing it that way for at least three and a half years with them. Mail.app offers it as one of the options.


But iCal didn't run the script, or if it did, the script didn't do anything.

Running it from the script menu didn't do anything either, for that matter.
