Wow. That is a very significant statement.

Historically, AS seems to have been marketed to the User and now I wonder...

Is this current view an intentional marketing shift?  Does "is regarded"
imply the view of Apple management or is this an engineering view of the
utility of AppleScript?

It's a very interesting -- and impacting -- statement.

I suppose, also, there is a distinction between those "writing" AppleScript
and those "using" an AppleScript script...
