Hi..
I've got a cron job which should (sometimes does, but I don't know why it
does when it does) run a script that moves various messages in Eudora.
For reasons I also don't quite understand, it sends an email (via my
Postfix on the machine) after it has run, or tried to run.
When it fails, it says "INIT_Processeses(), could not establish the default
connection to the WindowServer."
When it succeeds, I get a message like "Moved 25 messages"
The details at the top of the failed emails are:"
Subject: Cron <charles@Charles-iBook> osascript
"/Users/charles/Library/Scripts/Eudora Scripts/move replied photos
msjs.scpt"
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/Users/charles>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=charles>
X-Cron-Env: <USER=charles>
The details at the top of successful emails are:
Subject: Cron <charles@Charles-iBook> osascript
"/Users/charles/Library/Scripts/Eudora Scripts/move replied photos
msjs.scpt"
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/Users/charles>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=charles>
X-Cron-Env: <USER=charles>
This might not be an AS question, I recognise, but there is applescript
involved.. any clues?
best
Charles
