If it runs in the system crontab (or if user crontabs are honored when the user is logged out) I'll guess
that this works when you (user "Charles") are logged in, and fails when you're logged out. That would
be because Applescript needs a logged in user to work properly (I believe the WindowServer is
responsible for dispatching AppleEvents to their proper destinations).
