Does anyone know how to get the transparent sound volume overlay to display? I'm writing a script to change the volume which will be run from an IR remote. I want to give the user feedback as to the volume level. It would be nice if I could use Apple's (the one that is shown when the sound/brightness keys are pressed) instead of implementing my own.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
