Hi,
Tiger is a large step in this area: the presentation window properties allows
the AppleScript programmer to read/write all the properties found in the
presentation window (at last, in icon view; I do not tested the other views).
Here is the first line of the Finder dictionary presentation window (named
Finder window (!)) entry:
Finder window n [inh. window] : every Finder window
But, if you do not set Radio Button (top of window / first part of the window),
the changes you made will be taken into account (shared through) all of the
windows / all new windows.
How can I set this Radio Button ?
The French text is:
Uniquement cette fenêtre [Only this window *]
Toutes les fenêtres [All windows *]
TIA,
Emile
* My translation from French.
Just in case what I wrote above is not clear enough, go to the first Menu after
the Edit Menu (Fichier, Édition, Présentation in French), and activate the last
MenuItem (Afficher les options de présentation [Command-J] in French) and you
will see the Présentation floating window. In the top of that window, there is
two Radio Buttons. I want to be able to set the other one to active (the topmost
RadioButton).
BTW: the windoid get - as its name - the name of the Finder frontmost window.
