Signatures, Mail.app and Tiger

Hi,

With Tiger, I have not been able to figure out a way to change the contents of a signature using Applescript. I had been able to do this in Panther.

Signatures have two properties, name and content. I am able to get both properties for a signature by the following:

tell application "Mail"
content of signature "name of signature"
name of signature "name of signature"
end tell

But I can no longer either make a new signature or alter the name or content properties of a previously defined signature.

Has anyone figured out how to do this in Tiger Mail?

Thanks,

Norm
