Thanks for the tips, but "fm2ab" does an import, not a synchronization. That would be great when transferring from FileMaker to Address Book permanently, but I want to keep both lists, because each one has advantages (I guess another alternative would be for me to synch. directly with the iPod, but I'm sure that interface is a closely guarded secret).

What I currently have stores the Address Book ID in the FileMaker record, which makes it very easy to do queries back and forth, and means that a record will stay linked even if, say, the first and last name get changed, and the company and...
