    Hi,
    Is there any way to disable Excel's autorecover of files using
    automation (AS/VB/Shell/etc.)?

Wouldn't know. Paul?

    Is there a way of shutting autorecover off?

Excel-->Preferences-->Save-->Save AutoRecover info

    Thanks,
    Hanaan
