Hi Simon - if you want something quick and dirty, and can rely on the user having basic CSS support in their browser, take a look at my script, described here:

If it doesn't do exactly what you want, it does at least show an example of how you might iterate through all the styles in a particular chunk and convert them to HTML tags.

You can change the target from "Script Editor" to TextEdit, or whatever.
