Oh, I see what you're getting at. That's a bit confusing for me too, but
only because I can't see why you'd want to open anything but PDFs in Acrobat
:-)

Part of the problem might be that other formats don't really exist as real
files when opened in Acrobat? JPGs and TIFFs will open in a window called
"my_file.pdf" but they only exist as a temp file that Acrobat has rendered
to your temporary items folder.

Wouldn't it be easier to use Image Events for this sort of thing? Or
Photoshop?
