Title: Creating an alias with a folder action script.

This seems a highly improbable possibility, but before I give up, I thought 5 might ask some of you wizards out there for a piece of advice (or a few nippy remarks ;-)...
Is it possible to use folder action scripts to retrieve info from a the source of a copied file ? Meaning I copy a file from A to folder B (holding a folder action script) and would like to display a dialog with the path of the file’s A location. Impossible, right ?

J.
